🛡️MEV Protection (Jito)
MEV (Miner Extractable Value) Protection helps safeguard your trades against malicious blockchain actors trying to exploit transaction ordering — such as sandwich attacks and front-running.
What is MEV?
MEV refers to the potential profit miners or validators can extract by reordering, including, or excluding transactions in a block. Attackers use this to manipulate trades, causing losses or worse prices for unsuspecting users.
Why Enable MEV Protection?
By enabling MEV protection, your transactions gain additional defense mechanisms to reduce risks like:
🥪 Sandwich Attacks: where attackers place buy and sell orders around yours to manipulate the price.
🚀 Front-Running: when someone spots your pending trade and jumps in first.
How MEV Protection Works in Chronyx
Chronyx integrates with Jito, a platform that offers MEV protection by:
Bypassing the public mempool, so your transaction data is sent directly to the validator without being exposed publicly, reducing risk of front-running.
Adding a priority fee that incentivizes validators to include your transaction quickly and fairly.
Significantly speeding up your transactions for faster execution on the blockchain.
Ensuring your trades are executed with minimal exposure to MEV exploits.
How to Enable MEV Protection
Go to Settings > MEV Protection in the bot menu.

MEV Protection can be easily toggled on or off using the switch: • 🔴 Red = Off • 🟢 Green = On

Right next to the toggle, you can set the Jito Priority Fee by entering the desired amount.

Changes take effect immediately after toggling the switch or entering the fee amount — there is no separate “Save” button.
Adjusting the fee lets you balance between transaction speed and cost.
Important Notes
MEV protection may increase transaction fees slightly but greatly enhances trade security.
Always monitor your transactions and adjust settings as needed.
